I am offering casting information for ANY film or television project for one year!

I have decided to make an offer that I have never done before. As some of you know, my family has going through a bit of a crisis, and I have sent out a plea for help. I want to offer something great in return. If anyone can help us out, I will offer the following in return - Casting submission information for any film or television projects that you want to work on as an actor, for one year. I have access to the casting director and production information for all films and television projects, all I ask is that you do not re-publish or share the information, and only use it for your own personal use (or a family member, such as child). I will also email you any of my 2016 Actors Resource Guide eBooks that you want. If there is anyone wants to take me up on this and can help me and my family, please email me at alan.baltes@gmail.com or you can donate directly through Venmo (http://www.venmo.com), and here is my Venmo email to use - alan.baltes62@gmail.com. God Bless you!

Sincerely,

Alan Baltes & Family

New York open casting call for 'Pottersville'

The feature film "Pottersville" will be shooting in Upstate New York later this month, and the casting team is holding an open casting call on Monday, January 4th. They are seeking kids and adults to work as paid actors and extras. The film stars Academy Award Nominee Michael Shannon, and is a warm and quirky, feel-good comedy. All talent must be legally eligible to work in the entertainment industry in the state of New York. Details below.

In "Pottersville," a beloved local businessman, Maynard, is mistaken for the legendary Bigfoot during an inebriated romp through town in a makeshift gorilla costume. The sightings set off an international Bigfoot media spectacle, and a windfall of tourism dollars for a simple American town hit by hard times. When Brock Masterson, reality TV's "Monster Hunter," arrives to hunt the "Squatch," Maynard agonizes over whether to come clean, destroying the rebirth of his beloved town, or perpetuate the inadvertent hoax. "Pottersville" tells the story of a small American town's struggle to escape the hardships and boredom resulting from the demise of the once thriving local industrial economy.

Hollywood Film Awards winner Seth Henrikson will direct "Pottersville" from an original screenplay written by Daniel Meyer. Golden Globe Award winner Ron Perlman will produce under the banner of his production company Wing and a Prayer Pictures. Also producing is Perlman's partner Josh Crook, along with Scott Lochmus and Jonathan Gray.
