Leonardo DiCaprio's film production company Appian Way is set to begin shooting the major feature film "Runner, Runner" - and an open casting call is scheduled for June 16th, 2012 in San Juan, Puerto Rico where filming will take place. The movie's starring and co-starring roles are being cast in Los Angeles, with additional principal actor casting taking place in Puerto Rico. All types of people 18 years of age and older are needed to work as extras, and those interested are encouraged to attend the open casting call.
"Runner, Runner" stars Justin Timberlake as Richie Furst, a Princeton student who becomes involved in a shady offshore online gaming operation run by billionaire Ivan Block, who is played by Academy Award winner Ben Affleck. Oliver Cooper has been cast as an Ivy League computer geek who works for Block. The highly sought after actress Gemma Arterton will play Ivan Block's secretary Rebecca Shafran, who becomes Timberlake's love interest in the film.
Filmmaker Brad Furman ("The Lincoln Lawyer") will direct "Runner, Runner" from a screenplay written by the amazing writing team of Brian Koppelman and David Levien. Koppelman and Levien have written such films as "Knockaround Guys," "Runaway Jury," "Ocean's Thirteen," and the recently completed "Premium Rush". The duo also has a lineup of projects in the works that includes "The Untouchables: Capone Rising," "The Rockford Files," and "National Treasure 3" among several others.
Along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran of Appian Way, Double Feature Films is also producing the film. Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher will oversee production for Double Feature. Writers Brian Koppelman and David Levien are also producing. Dylan Russell of Stone Village Pictures will executive produce, along with Erik Holmberg and Scott LaStaiti.
Filming on "Runner, Runner" begins on June 25, 2012 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Industry leader Marinella Casting is seeking talent 18 and up of all looks, types, sizes and ethnicities specifically those who appear to be African-American, Caucasian, Asian and European. By all types, they mean all types from bodybuilders and bikini models to College students and hipsters, from Waitresses and Waiters to Upscale Club Goers and Electric Daisy Carnival party people, Casino and Real Card Players, from Retirees to Government Officials (FBI/CIA type of Security Officers), from Basketball players to little people and everything in between. These are all paid positions on the biggest motion picture filming in San Juan. So, anyone and everyone, above the age of 18 are invited to come meet the casting team! Please dress as your part. For example if you are a hipster came as you are going to party, if you are a college student bring your back pack and the preppy look, cocktail waitresses bring heels and outfit, dress your most upscale look. Please avoid white (cream is better), prints, patterns and logos. Richie Furst (Justin Timberlake) is a Princeton student who gets pulled into the world of online gambling in order to help bankroll his expensive education. Andrew Cronin (Oliver Cooper) is a twentysomething Ivy League computer nerd who gets hired along with Furst to work for Ivan Block (Ben Affleck), an online gambling billionaire who works out of Costa Rica and whose business is even less legitimate than it first seems. Rebecca Shafran (Gemma Arterton) is Ivan Block's secretary, who soon becomes romantically involved with Richie Furst.
