Morning Wood Productions in association with FilmNation Entertainment are set to begin shooting a teen comedy feature film titled "Premature". Top industry veteran casting director Bill Marinella has been contracted to cast all of the movie's extras, and an open casting call has been scheduled in the Atlanta, GA area. The starring and co-starring roles have been cast in Los Angeles, while additional casting for smaller speaking roles will take place in Georgia.

"Premature" tells the story of a high school senior named Rob, played by John Karna, who begins testing the boundaries when he finds his epic day repeating itself. Also cast is Katie Findlay as Rob's long time friend Gabrielle; the amazingly beautiful Carlson Young will play a very promiscuous student that Rob tutors; newcomer Adam Riegler has been cast as Arther, a short nerdy Armenian 12 year-old prodigy; Atlanta based actress Cara Mantella will play a hot and busty teacher named Mrs. Hartnett; and another Atlanta based actor, Jonathan Kleitman, portrays Rob's friend Uzi.

Karen Lunder and Aaron Ryder of FilmNation Entertainment will produce "Premature". The company is an independent international sales, distribution and production company. Their upcoming slate includes the recently completed films "Red Dawn" starring Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, "Magic Mike" starring Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer, "To the Wonder" starring Rachel McAdams and Jessica Chastain, and "House at the End of the Street" starring Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue, among many others.

Dan Beers will direct "Premature" from a script he co-wrote with Mathew Harawitz. Beers directed, and created (along with Peter Karinen and Brian Sacca) the NBC web comedy series "FCU: Fact Checkers Unit" based on the trio's short film that starred Bill Murray and premiered at Sundance. Mat Harawitz is a highly respected comedy writer who's credits include the television shows "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "Blue Collar TV," "MTV Movie Awards," "Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner," Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia," and NBC's "Whitney".

17 year old Rob (John Karna) has a big day ahead of him. Not only does he have his all important Georgetown interview (with big pressure from his parents, both alumni), he's got a long-standing date with his good friend Gabrielle (Katie Findlay) to watch the Scripps Spelling Bee - a date he has to cancel when his long standing crush, the hot, sexy Angela (Carlson Young) asks him to tutor her at home in exchange for sex to help with a test the next day. Unfortunately for Rob, there is no "next day" for him, because in a bizarre "Groundhog's Day" curse, he keeps repeating the same day, over and over, until he finally realizes what it is the Universe wants from him.
